It’s eLearning Week at Deminos

By November 6, 2017Advice, News

Welcome to eLearning Week at Deminos! This week on our blog and social media channels we’ll be looking at the benefits of eLearning for a business, and letting you know about all the different courses we can offer our clients.

eLearning can be used to create important HR policies in your workplace, giving you the information you’ll need to be compliant with the law and follow best practice. Part of the appeal of online courses is their flexibility. They can be completed almost anywhere and at any time depending on what is convenient for a business.

Here’s what we’ll be sharing this week:

HR advice

  • Preventing sexual harassment in the workplace – This topic has been a major talking point in the news lately, so we’ll explain how it should be prevented and dealt with at work.

  • The benefits of eLearning – Training with online courses is an easy, convenient way to learn new HR skills. We’ll look in more detail at the benefits eLearning can bring.

  • Fire safety at work: What employers need to do. Not complying with regulations regarding fire safety can lead to heavy fines (or worse) for employers. We’ll advise on what you can do to ensure the safety of your employees.

  • Are you ready for the GDPR? May 2018 sees the introduction of new EU data protection laws that all UK businesses will need to adhere to. We’ll show you what you need to be aware of.

Focus on eLearning courses

Every day we’ll focus on one of our accredited eLearning courses, and show you how it can help employers create vital HR policies.

Your HR news round-up

Every weekday afternoon we’ll share the best stories relating to human resources and employment law on our blog. Whatever may be happening within the industry, we’ll let you know so you’re kept informed.

Meet the team

We’re continuing our regular feature, where each Friday we’ll focus on one of the Deminos team. This week, it’s HR advisor Rosie Kennedy.

That’s what’s happening this week, but if you’d like to learn more, give us a follow on Twitter, a ‘like’ on Facebook, or even have a look at our website.

That’s all for now!
